Candle march in Ghaziabad over Paris attacks

Ghaziabad, Nov 17 (IANS) Ghaziabad residents took out a candle march on Tuesday to pray for those killed in the Paris terror attacks.

“It’s a peaceful way to pray for peace for the departed souls and to protest against the terror attacks,” said Amit Tyagi, president of the Vishwa Hindu Sevak Sangh who led the march.

Before the march, about 100 residents observed a minute’s silence. The procession started from the Sector 10 park and ended at the Ramlila ground.
