CCB police arrest 20 persons engaged in Andar-Bahar

Mangaluru: The CCB police raided the Millenium Recreation Club and arrested 20 persons who were playing ‘Andar-Bahar’ at Hemavathi building, Hampankatta here, on July 19.

According to the police, there were 20 persons involved in gambling at the Millenium Recreation Club. Acting on reliable information, the CCB police raided the club and arrested those who were involved in gambling.

The police seized three wooden tables, 20 chairs and Rs 1,10,700 cash from their possession used for gambling. The arrested persons have been handed over to the North Police Station for further investigations.

Under the able leadership of Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar, DCP of Crime & Traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil, DCP Law & Order Shantharaju, the CCB police inspector Sunil Nayak, PSI Shyam Sundar and team carried out the operation.
