Cheryl’s mother fuels singer’s pregnancy rumours

London, Sep 28 (IANS) Rumours that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is expecting singer Liam Payne’s child, have been fuelled by the former’s mother Joan Callaghan.

Callaghan added fuel to fire as she was recently seen at Mothercare, a British retailer that specifically sells pregnancy and parenting goods, reports mirror.co.uk.

She was caught on camera purchasing a maternity pillow designed to help support a pregnant mother’s back and bump. However, a source close to Versini shared that the pillow wasn’t for her.

“It’s for one of her daughters in Newcastle. Joan does have lots of grandchildren,” a source said.

Versini first sparked rumours that she is expecting a baby with Payne after she appeared with a “fuller face” in an ad.

Her beau only fuelled the rumours when he changed his Twitter bio earlier this month to say that he’s “the happiest man in the world”.

However, neither Versini nor Payne have confirmed or denied the speculations, but a source told another publication that the 33-year-old was ready to be a mother.

“Cheryl’s never been more determined to have a baby. It’s like it’s the only thing in the world that matters to her. She’s never been so focused on something. Cheryl has a stash of pregnancy and motherhood books she’s always reading,” the source said.
