Cristiano Ronaldo’s travelling museum arrives in Lisbon

Lisbon, Sep 23 (IANS) Portuguese footballing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo traveling museum has arrived here to show the trophies and memorabilia of the Real Madrid player and can be visited until October 15.

Located in the Eduardo VII Park, it offers a tour of the successes of the player officially considered by the Portuguese Football Federation as the best Portuguese player of all time, even above the legendary Eusebio, reports Efe.

The exhibition looks at the beginnings of the player since he passed through Sporting Lisbon when he was a teenager, until his transfer to Manchester United and then Real Madrid.

It includes the Golden Ball awarded to him in 2013, the Golden Boot and the award of Most Valuable Player of the Spanish Liga in the 2012-2013 season.

They all share space with other trophies he won with his teams, such as the Carling Cup and the English Premier League, won with Manchester United, or the Champions League with Real Madrid won in 2014.

Ronaldo,30, has since December, 2013, built a museum in his hometown of Funchal, which exhibits some of the most important parts of his playing career.

Before Lisbon, the exhibition was displayed in Faro and Vilamoura in Algarve and after passing through the Portuguese capital will go to Madrid in October.
