CRPF trooper dies in road accident in Chhattisgarh, 2 injured

Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), Feb 6 (IANS) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper died on Saturday and two other personnel were critically injured when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned along the Jagdalpur-Geedam road in Chhattisgarh, sources said.

The accident happened on Saturday afternoon at a place 30 km from here, the sources said.

The vehicle was part of a CRPF convoy travelling from here to Bijapur district in the state.

While one trooper died on the spot, another trooper and the vehicle driver were critically injured. They have been admitted to hospital here.
