Ctizenship row:Parliament Ethics Panel issues notice to Rahul Gandhi

Mar 14, 2016, Agencies/ANI: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has been served notice by Parliament Ethics Committee on Monday seeking clarification on whether he had once declared himself a British citizen.

Arjun Ram Meghwal, Member of Parliament Ethics Committee, said a show-cause notice has been issued to Rahul Gandhi seeking his response on why he declared himself British citizen in documents related to a UK company.

Later, when asked about the show-cause notice seeking his clarification on citizenship Rahul Gandhi told reporters: ”We will deal with that”.
