Cyclist killed in road Mishap at Saligrama
Udupi: A cyclist was killed after he was knocked down by a car on NH 66 near Saligrama here, on Saturday, June 4.
The deceased has been identified as Krishna (45), a resident of Hangarkatte. According to the police, Krishna was on his way to Saligrama from Sastan when a speeding Chevrolet Beat car, which was moving away from the city, knocked him down near Vishwakarma Auditorium at Saligrama.
Krishna who was thrown to the road suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
The Kota police have registered a case.
