DCW chief promises support to rape victim in Haryana

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS) Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal on Friday urged the Delhi girl raped in Haryana’s Murthal to “come out” and “help nail the culprits”.

“Heard girl raped in Murthal from Delhi. Please call 181 or come to my office. Full confidentiality and support assured. Please help nail culprits immediately,” Maliwal tweeted.

Her comment comes after reports surfaced in the media of some girls having been raped by the Jat protestors who have been demanding reservations in jobs.
