Delhi Police go for AAP leader ahead of Kejriwal rally
New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday accused Delhi Police of attempting to detain the AAP in-charge in Gujarat ahead of his (Kejriwal’s) Sunday rally in Surat.
“Just two days before Surat rally, Delhi Police obtain non bailable warrant against our Gujarat Prabhari, Gulab Singh, in a completely false case,” the Aam Aadmi Party leader tweeted.
Kejriwal is set to reach Gujarat on Friday evening on a two-day trip. The AAP hopes to contest next year’s Gujarat assembly elections.
