“This issue about me is being raised since the last two weeks. I had informed the through the leader of the house that I am ready for discussion. Since last seven days, I am sitting here every day just so that discussion may start,” she said amid ruckus in the house.

“But they don’t start the discussion, they just create ruckus. The facts, this notice is based on, are baseless and untrue… I never requested the British government to give travel documents to Lalit Modi,” said Sushma Swaraj.

With Congress members creating a ruckus, the house was adjourned till 12 noon.

UTILISING THIS VERY OCCASION, SHE COULD HAVE STATED WHAT WAS THE “HUMANITARIAN HELP” SHE DID AND HOW SHE DID IT. SHE COULD HAVE AS WELL GIVEN THE DETAILS OUTSIDE THE PARLIAMENT, AS THE MATTER IS NOT ANY POLICY MATTER OF THE STATE AND DEMANDED BY THE CONGRESS LONG BEFORE THE PARLIAMENT WAS CALLED TO SESSION.

IS IT A POLICY MATTER OF MODI GOVERNMENT NOT TO TELL WHAT THEY ADMITTED TO HAVE DONE, WITHOUT GIVING DETAILS OF IT?

IF SHE OR MODI THINK THAT THEY COULD MAKE THE CONGRESS FALL INTO THEIR TRAP AND STOP THE CONGRESS BLOCKING THE PROCEEDINGS, A WELL ESTABLISHED PARLIAMENTARY PRACTICE SET UP BY THE BJP SINCE THE LAST TEN YEARS, THEY WOULD BE UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED!
