DK Shivakumar the next CM, Siddaramaiah should Resign by today – Poojary

Mangaluru: “The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah did not visit the drought affected areas in the state until August 10. But on August 11, he has given a statement which is unacceptable. If you do not have time for such work, resign from the post. D K Shivakumar is the right candidate for the post of CM and he will be the next Chief Minister of Karnataka”, said the senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary in a press meet held at the Gokarnatheshwara Temple Kudroli here on August 12.

Addressing the mediapersons Janardhan Poojary said, “CM Siddaramaiah does not have time to visit the drought affected areas during the day or night. What he is doing, is he playing cards? Or has he any other habits? If you don’t have time to listen to the problems of the people why do you need the CM’s post? D K Shivakumar is getting stronger by the day and he is the right candidate to be the CM.”

Poojary further said, “Amit Shah is coming to Karnataka, so far he has visited 16 states and he has replaced the Chief Ministers in all those states. Before Amit Shah reaches Karnataka, Siddaramaiah should resign. For the Congress to remain in power let any Dalit be the CM”.

Poojary also said, “In Gorakhpur, 13 children died because of the shortage of Oxygen.According to the latest news, more than 60 children have lost their lives. Rahul Gandhi in his statement has said that if the Prime minister cannot provide oxygen to his own constituency, he should resign.”

Former Mayor Ajith Kumar and others were also present.
