London, Sep 20 (IANS) The team of science fiction TV show “Doctor Who” recreated the album cover “Abbey road” of rock band The Beatles as a homage, on Abbey Road here itself.
Actors Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman and the various villains in the long running show, recreated The Beatles’ famous 1969 “Abbey Road” album cover. The photograph was part of the BBC series’ promotional efforts for its season 9 premiere on Saturday, reports variety.com.
Coleman, who has confirmed that she is leaving the series to work on the ITV show “Victoria”, in which she stars as young Queen Victoria, even went barefoot, paying homage to singer Paul McCartney.
