DONATE BLOOD, SAVE LIVES

DONATE BLOOD, SAVE LIVES

June 14th is observed as World Blood Donor day.  On this occasion, A J Hospital is holding a voluntary blood donation camp at the hospital premises from 10th to 30th June 2015.

Every time we donate blood, we help save lives.  Blood cannot be manufactured and there is no substitute for it.  It is in constant demand for accident victims, surgeries, infants, patients battling cancer and more.

Who can donate blood?

  • If you are between the age of 18 and 60, without any health problems, you can save many lives, which otherwise are lost just for want of blood / blood components.

Health benefits to the blood Donor:

  • Reduces the risk of heart attack
  • Enhances the production of new blood
  • Burns calories
  • Reduces cancer risk
  • Regular donors have reduced incidence of hypertension and other vascular abnormalities

Enroll now and be a regular donor.  You are not only helping save lives but helping yourself to be healthy.

For those who donate blood at A J Hospital from 10th to 30th June 2015, a discount of 50% is offered on any one of the standard health check-up packages, to be availed within 3 months from the date of blood donation.  Donate blood and collect your discount card.

For further queries and appointments, please call A J Blood Bank at 0824 6613456.

You are requested to kindly publish in your esteemed media to create awareness among the general public about blood donation and help save lives.
