Dubai: EIFF Holds Programme on Life and Messages of Prophet Muhammad

Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum Karnataka Chapter organized a programme for expatriate Indians on life and messages of Prophet Muhammad (SWAS) at Musalla Tower, in the city on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal month on December 25.

The programme was graced by the presence of the President, Emirates India Fraternity Forum UAE, Abdul Rasheed; Chief Guest of the event Abdul Majeed Aladka and Executive Member of Emirates India Fraternity Forum – Deira Dubai, Mohammed Faraz.

The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Abdul Rasheed Bejai. Delivering the presidential address, Abdul Rasheed explained the recent activities of Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) such as blood donation, free medical checkup camp, assistance to the needy in job search and legal assistance and various social schemes conducted by EIFF.

Abdul Majeed, presented importance of Prophet Mohammad’s (SWAS) teachings and lifestyles and explained how the prophet’s teachings were implemented by his followers as well as his teachings of equality, fraternity spread all over the world in his fight against racism. “The recent ongoing incidents of intolerance in some parts of India are mainly because we have forgotten the teachings of our prophet Mohammad (SWAS) and left behind his lifestyle,” he added.

Hundreds of non-resident Indians participated in the programme. Vote of thanks was given by Irfan Yermal. The Executive Members of EIFF-Dubai and disciplined volunteers helped to make the event a grand success.
