Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) Holds ‘HubbuRasool’
Abu Dhabi: Emirates India Fraternity Forum-Abu Dhabi sector organised a programme for expatriate Indians on the biography and message of Prophet Muhammad (SWAS) at the Airlines Restaurant Party Hall, Abu Dhabi on December 15, on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal month.
The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Abbas Bantwal. The Programme was graced by the presence of Aslam Hasan, Karnataka State Executive Member of Popular Front of India, Majeed Aladka, Executive Council Member of Social Democratic Party of India, Siddik Uchila, Executive Member of Beary’s Welfare Forum (BWF) Abu Dhabi and Riyaz Sajipa, Executive Member of Emirates India Fraternity Forum, UAE.
Iqbal Pandeshwar, welcomed the guests and audience and briefed on the EIFF’s social activities such as, Blood Donation Camp with conjunction with Abu Dhabi Blood Bank, Free Medical check-up camps, repatriating the Dead bodies back home irrespective of caste and religion, assistance in job search, better placement and legal assistance as per requirement and counseling programme to the needy families. He also touched upon the importance of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal and also various social schemes conducted by EIFF.
Aslam Hasan, in his key address on the “guidelines from the life of Prophet (PBUH) in present situation” stressed the importance of the Teachings and Lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (SWAS). He explained how the prophet’s teachings were implemented by his followers as well as his teachings of equality, fraternity spread all over the world in his fight against racism. The recent ongoing incidents of intolerance in some parts of India are mainly because we have forgotten the teachings of our prophet Mohammad (SWAS) and left behind his lifestyle.
It was this faith which delivered humanity from ignorance and superstitions and spread the light of true knowledge all over the world. He is a role model in all aspects for all of the mankind and his entire life should be followed by all Muslims. He mentioned several instances quoted in the Holy Quran and Authentic Ahadith and from the life of the Prophet in which the latter demonstrated immense kindness, forgiveness and restraint while dealing with companions and fellow beings. He concluded his speech with quoting of great poet Late Allama Iqbal’s famous sayings.
Majeed Aladka, in his short address, explained that the whole world is celebrating and conducting various programmes about Prophet Mohammad (SWAS) in the month of Rabi’ul-Awwal but our mission should not be limited to only one month, it should continue throughout our lifetime. He explained that India is a democratic country and all the citizens can enjoy equal rights provided by our constitution.
The disciplined programme was convened by Sharif Sarvey and expressed gratitude to the Guests, audience for their timely presence made the occasion special and all those who helped to make this program success on behalf of the organizer. A huge number of expatriates participated during the occasion. The Executive Members of EIFF, Abu Dhabi and disciplined volunteers helped to make the event a grand success.
