Five terrorists killed in Pakistan

Islamabad, June 16 (IANS) Five terrorists were killed in gunfights with security forces in Pakistan’s Sindh and Punjab provinces, police said on Tuesday.

Two terrorists were killed in a gunbattle on a highway near New Sabzi Mandi in Karachi and three were killed in an exchange of fire in Punjab province’s Quaidabad city, reported Geo News.

Arms and a motorbike were also recovered from the terrorists in Karachi.

A police official added that 40 suspects have been arrested from different areas of Karachi.
