Both the BJP leaders along with their wives visited the temple and made a darshan of Lord Sri Krishna and also met Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math. The Swamji honoured both the leaders during the visit.

Later speaking to the media persons R Ashok said that senior congress leader Srinivas Prasad had worked in former PM Vajapee’s cabinet and later joined congress party, he is a clean politician. V Srinivas Prasad was treated inhumanly by the Congress, especially Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. On October 12 he has resigned from the congress party. Our party leaders are in contact with Srinivas Prasad. Another Dalit leader Shivaram will also join the BJP on October 14 in Bengaluru in the presence of Rajnath Singh. Many other party workers and leaders are waiting to join the BJP soon. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is working as a dictator instead of addressing the issues. There is no confusion and differences in BJP as the All India General Secretary of BJP has separately spoken to Yeddyurapa and Eshwarappa to find an amicable solution. The BJP will come to power in the State in the 2018 elections. We all including Eshwarappa and BSY are working together to bring the BJP to power in the state in the coming elections, he added.
