German football coach Klopp rejects Marseille offer

Berlin, Aug 11 (IANS) Former Borussia Dortmund chief coach Jurgen Klopp has rejected an offer from French football club Olympique Marseille.

Marseille showed great interest in signing the coach. However, Klopp, according to his agent Marc Kosicke, has no time to go back training, EFE reported on Tuesday.

The French club has been without coach since last Saturday, after the resignation of Argentine Marcelo Bielsa.

Klopp has been credited for reviving the fortunes of Dortmund, who won the 2010-11, 2011-12 Bundesliga titles under the German. They also finished runners-up in the 2012-13 European Champions League.
