Madrid, Sep 2 (IANS) Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Keylor Navas has spoken with coach Rafael Benitez about his future at the football club after his proposed move to English giants Manchester United collapsed at the fag end of the transfer deadline that ended on August 31.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper, a star in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, spoke at length with Benitez before heading to the training camp on Tuesday, reports Efe.

Navas was negotiating his departure from Madrid since Monday night and even passed a medical examination at Manchester United but returned to Madrid on Tuesday morning after his deal fell through.
