Srinagar, Oct 6 (IANS) Militants on Thursday attacked an army camp in Kupwara town of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

The 30 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Langate town of northern district came under the fire, a senior police officer said, adding that “alert guards have prevented the militants from entering the camp”.

“Heavy exchange of fire was going on between the militants and the security forces,” he said.

Militants had attacked an RR camp in Janbazpora area of Baramulla town on October 3.

One BSF trooper was killed and another injured in that attack.

  1. I guess Bakra and her friends are not interested in this story as it doesn’t fit the narrative of ‘excessive force by Indian army’!! She is too busy talking about pellet guns!! By the way, stenographers in Europe are no less ignorant when it comes to these issues. Take a look at the recent coverage by BBC news below Their own country is going down the drain and they are still living in denial. What a bunch of geniuses!!
