Harish Uthaman dons khaki in Nayanthara’s new film

Chennai, Feb 9 (IANS) Actor Harish Uthaman, known for working in films such as “Pandiya Nadu” and “Thani Oruvan”, has donned the khaki again for his next yet-untitled Tamil outing which features actress Nayanthara in the lead role.

In his previous films “Jil” and “Payyum Puli”, Harish had played a police officer.

“Harish plays a tough police officer and gets to share the screen space with Nayanthara. Unlike his previous police avatars, this one is a much refined character. Both of them essay very important roles in the film,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

To be directed by debutant Doss Ramaswamy, this project will be produced by filmmaker Sarkunam.

The film, which is slated to go on the floors later this month, doesn’t feature a hero and the story will revolve around Nayanthara.

The film will have music by the duo Vivek-Mervin.
