Hassan: Gambling Den near Sakleshpur Raided – Mysuru MP’s Brother among Arrested?

Hassan: The Sakleshpur rural police, on receiving reliable information, raided a house in Biradahalli village in Sakleshpur taluk and arrested nine persons who were engaged in gambling.

The raid was led by Sakleshpur DySP P V Sneha. Nine persons were arrested in the operation. Fourteen mobile phones and Rs 14,000 in cash were seized in the raid.

While the police declined to provide more details on the pretext of ensuring proper investigations, sources insisting on anonymity, that one of the arrested is Vikram Simha, the brother of Pratap Simha, Lok Sabha member from the Mysuru-Kodagu constituency.

The case is being pursued by the rural police.
