Himachal governor, CM greet people on Holi

Shimla, March 24 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Thursday felicitated the people on the occasion of Holi.

“We hope that the festival of colours brings spirit of oneness amongst the people of the state,” Devvrat said in a statement.

“The colours of Holi are a symbol of our diverse and multi-cultural heritage which reinforces the message of unity in diversity and helps in promoting equality amongst all human beings,” the chief minister said.
