Keeping your skin radiant and glowing is often a hard task. But some basic steps, regularly followed, could give you the enviable skin that models have.


Remember to clean, tone and moisturise your face daily. Use products and weekly face-masks according to your skin type. Use good-quality sunscreens before stepping into the sun. Here are some tips for glowing skin.


For oily skin: Wash face as often as possible. A multani mitti-rose water-sandalwood powder paste works wonders on oily skin. Use once a week.


Here?s a good face pack: Add a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemonjuice to besan and apply. Leave for 20 minutes and wash off.


For dry and normal skin: Apply milk cream mixed with a pinch of turmeric before bath. Mix equal portions of almond and olive oil and massage on face and body. Here?s a face pack: Mix one teaspoon honey, egg yolk and milk powder into a paste. Apply on face and wash off after 25 minutes.


For reducing blemishes and scars: Daily application of tomato pulp or radish juice will help lighten them. Apply raw sliced potato on the face. Mix curd with dried orange peels. Wash off after 20 minutes with cold water. Blend sandalwood paste and rose water and apply on scars.
