Landslide in Sakleshpur – Subrahmanya Road Ghat Section
Mangaluru: Due to heavy rain, a landslide is reported from Sakleshpur -Subrahmanya Road ghat section in Mysuru Division of South Western Railway today (08.08.2018). The first landslide happened at 07:20 hours today and the section was restored at 16:30 hrs.
After that, again at 18:30 hrs a landslide was reported and restoration work is still going on in the section. According to Mysore Division Officials restoration work is still in progress.
Partial cancellation of train services:
Due to the landslide, the service of Train No.16576 Mangaluru junction-Yeswantpur Tri-weekly Express (scheduled Departure time – Mangaluru Junction at 11:30 hours) on 08 August 2018 remains partially cancelled between Mangaluru Junction and Hassan.
