Roshni Nilaya Felicitates DCP Uma Prashant on Women’s Day

Mangaluru: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Uma Prashant, Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Crime and Trafiic), Mangaluru city was felicitated on March 8 at College auditorium, School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya for her commendable services in Manglauru City as a Woman Deputy Commissioner of Police with Commitment to prevention and control crimes and traffic-related offences and her Valuable Collaborations with the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.

Principal, Juliet C. J., Vice Principal, Dr Jenis Mary, Secretary of the institute, Evelyn Benis felicitated Uma Prashant with flower bouquet, shawl, memento and citation.

It is said that as a woman with a difference, a police officer with a difference, her life blends with the theme of IWD 2019. She is a woman DCP who does ‘think equal, build smart and innovate changes’. The programme was organised by the Department of Criminology and Coordinated by HOD, Sarik Ankitha.
