Two Held for Illegally Transporting BJP Pamphlets
Mangaluru: The Kadri police have taken two youth into custody in connection with carrying BJP Pamphlets without any documents at the Nanthoor Check post on March 16.
The arrested have been identified as Aswin (25) and Arun Kumar (26) both from Manjeshwar, Kasargod.
According to the police, on March 16, at 1:15 am, Aswin and Arun were transporting Pamphlets of the BJP in a Kerala registration Alto car No KL 14 U 6805. As they reached the Nanthur Check post the flying squad officer Wilson N on duty while searching the car found illegal pamphlets being transported in the car.
When the police asked for information about the pamphlets they were unable to provide any documents. The Mangaluru East police took both of them into their custody and have seized the car along with the pamphlets.
