Who Let The Dogs In? Fans can now Watch IPL along with their Dogs at Bluru Stadium

Mangaluru: Remember the Rap tune “Who Let The Dogs Out” by The Baha Men, now you can use the same tune for “Who Let The Dogs In?”. Yes, we all know that Dog is Man’s Best Friend”, and now “Man is Dog’s Best Friend”, where the dog gets a chance to watch IPL along with its master. M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is about to make history in the 12th edition of Indian Premier League as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), for the first time in the history of the league, have decided to make their home games pet-friendly. It may sound a little weird to you, but the red and black brigade have come up with the idea of pet-lounge named ‘DogOut’ with different seating arrangement for humans and canines.

As per sources, ‘RCB loves Furry’ is a pilot project in which there will be no tickets on sale for the exclusive lounge. In this maiden initiative, the franchise will pick 30 pet owners from a ‘selfie with your pet’ contest on the official team app and invite them for the game with their pet. This year only dogs and cats will be allowed inside the stadium. Speaking about the initiative, an RCB official while speaking to the media, admitted that this idea was brought in to create an opportunity for the pet parents to watch the game with their pets.

The report also mentions that the entry for this stand will be from Gate 21, which is generally not open to spectators. As a result, the confusion which may arise from pets being taken into the stadium will be avoided. The project is being supported by the Karnataka State Cricket Association and RCB are aligned with the BCCI for the project as well.

RCB will begin their IPL 2019 campaign against defending champions Chennai Super Kings on March 23 at Chepauk. Virat Kohli & Co are yet to lift the trophy and will be desperate to win the title this time around.
