Hungary captain wants to leave Turkish club, fears terror attacks

Budapest, July 1 (IANS) Hungary’s football team captain Balazs Dzsudzsak announced on Friday that he wants to leave his current club, Bursaspor of Turkey, over fears of terrorist attacks, which have been plaguing the Eurasian country for several months.

The striker told Budapest radio Class FM that he is very concerned about terrorist attacks and worries that in the future there will be more incidents in Turkey, reports Efe.

Dzsudzsak, who scored two goals in Euro 2016, acknowledged that he cannot share more information about his future, although Hungarian sports media pointed that the captain could sign a contract with a Bundesliga team soon.

Moreover, the Hungarian sports media said that Bursaspor, eleventh in the Turkish league last season, has set the price for Dzsudzsak at seven million euros ($7.7 million), after buying him the previous year for two million euros ($2.2 million).
