I-Day speech: Modi indirectly attacks opposition

New Delhi, Aug 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday indirectly attacked the opposition in his Independence Day speech, saying they spread “negativity”.

“I am seeing there are some people who want to seek negativity, spread negativity and the more they do so, the better is their sleep. These people have no programmes, no plans and neither are 125 crore people of Team India prepared to invest their time on them,” Modi said from the Red Fort ramparts.

Modi’s speech came two days after the close of monsoon session of parliament that saw a bitter stand-off between his Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress. The government could not get the Goods and Services Tax bill passed in the parliament.

Modi said his remarks should not be seen through a political prism and added that the Comptroller and Auditor General report on coal allocations, which came during the previous UPA government, had pointed to a loss of Rs.176,000 crore.

Modi said his government had conducted auctions in a time-bound manner.

“About Rs.3 lakh crore will come into the exchequer. Ask yourself. Has corruption gone or not? Did the doors of corruption in the country close or not? We have done it,” he said.

  1. I-Day speech: Modi indirectly attacks opposition and says, “I am seeing there are some people who want to seek negativity, spread negativity and the more they do so, the better is their sleep.”

FOR ONCE, MODI TELLS THE STARK REALITY AND WELL GUARDED SECRET OF SUCCESS! FOR TEN YEARS, TILL 2014, BJP SOUGHT NEGATIVITY, SPREAD NEGATIVITY AND PEOPLE GAVE BETTER SLEEP FOR THEM BY THE RESULT OF 2014 ELECTIONS TO THE PARLIAMENT. THE EFFECT OF NEGATIVITY SPREAD BY RSS REDUCED THE CONGRESS TO “44 SEAT PARTY”, AS RSS PAI OFT REPEATS ON THIS FORUM, AS IS DONE BY MODI FROM THE RAMPARTS OF THE RED FORT TODAY!

CONGRESS MUST BEAT THE ABOVE DESCRIBED TRODDEN PATH, PROVED BY RSS AND ACCEPTED BY THE INDIANS. WHAT IS WRONG IN IT?

  2. “What’s wrong in it” wonders Pincode Pai, a resident of Kumbla.

Hate to be philosophical here – But, one should read Immanuel Kant to understand the importance of motive in morality. While it is highly unrealistic and naive to expect ’44-seats’ party to hold itself to high moral values, I can’t help but wonder the state of politics in India. What exactly is their motive, I wonder.

For example, take a look at the following video clip where Sushma Swaraja Modi (By the way, I’ve no sympathy for her) tries to debate the issue and see the infantile, immature behavior from the members of ’44-seats’ party!!!

Those despicable characters in human form never stop shouting!! This is very painful and embarrassing even by third-world standards!! Why are they so afraid of debating? Why can’t Prince Raul and his tourist mom refuse to produce evidence if a crime was committed? Who are these MPs shouting non-stop as if they are standing in a street corner? Why is our media not encouraging a real, mature, serious discussion instead of turning it into just another entertaining, partisan frenzy? Well…

    • Why can’t Prince Raul and his tourist mom refuse to produce evidence if a crime was committed? – asks duplicate!

Three Congress ministers were made to resign during the UPA rule, before the RSS allowed the Parliament to do any business and they did not produce any evidence and even after one year and three months of coming to power they have not produce any evidence or filed any case.

But, when clear proof, is there they are not making their ministers to resign.

Who is partisan, Mr. Duplicate Paimaam of US, you or me?

You criminal ministers need not resign, but the Congress ministers had to resign due mere to allegations without any evidence.

The RSS-BJP has a right to obstruct Parliament for ten years, but the Congress should not!

SIR, CONGRESS MAY BE A 44 SEAT PARTY TODAY. BUT, IF PEOPLE WHO REWARDED THE BJP WITH ELECTORAL VICTORY, MAY BE NEXT TIME, CONGRESS WOULD ALSO BE REWARDED IN A LIKE MANNER, FOR THE THINGS WHICH THEY DID FOR TEN YEARS!

IN THE MEANWHILE, THE BJP HIGHLY DESERVE WHAT THEY FACE TODAY.
