Indian Hotels Company’s Q2 loss narrows down to Rs.53.64 crore

Kolkata, Nov 9 (IANS) Indian Hotels Company on Monday posted a net consolidated loss of Rs.53.64 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 as against a loss of Rs.97.69 crore for the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.

Its net consolidated revenue, however, increased by 8.92 percent in the quarter under review at Rs.1,020.58 crore, compared to Rs.937 crore earned during the similar quarter of the last fiscal year.

On a standalone basis, the company, however, made a net profit of Rs.12 crore in the July-September time period as against the loss of Rs.7.58 crore during the similar months of 2014.

Its net standalone revenue also increased to Rs.470.35 crore as against Rs.415.66 crore in the July-September time frame.
