New Delhi, June 24 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday said the “traditional bond” of friendship and cooperation between India and Croatia will “grow stronger”.

“Our two nations have historically shared warm and cordial relations. It is my firm belief that this traditional bond of friendship and cooperation will grow stronger in the years to come for the mutual benefit of our two peoples,” Mukherjee said in his message to the Croatian President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, on the eve of the country’s National Day (June 25).

“On behalf of the government, the people of India and on myself, it is my pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the Croatian people on the occasion of your National Day.”

“Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Croatia,” Mukherjee added.
