Indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine at DoubleTree by Hilton’s Miyuki

Pune, Feb 01 (IANS) DoubleTree by Hilton in Pune brings in the unique culinary tradition of Japan at its newly launched restaurant ‘Miyuki’. Maintaining the original flavours of the country, the restaurant gives one a peep into the colourful gourmet culture of Japan.

The restaurant boosts of an array of traditional Japanese preparations such as the delectable chicken negima seasoned with yakitori sauce, braised buta kakuni(stew pork), yummy suigyu tenderloin furnished with yakiniku sauce (tenderloin), the ever popular humberg infused with red wine sauce and sassy chicken teriyaki, amongst others.

“The highlight of the restaurant is a live counter called Teppan. This counter provides some of the most lip smacking preparations that cater to the gastronomical urge of food connoisseurs like never before,” said junior sous chef Amarjeet Kumar.

The vegetarian spread, which includes kinutofu steak with sweet soy sauce and appetizing yasai itame, amongst others, has diners asking for more.

No Japanese meal is complete without a variety of mouth watering sushi and sashimi and Miyuki offers these preparations using their signature ingredients.

“The authenticity of the preparations at Miyuki is maintained by the use of traditional Japanese herbs and fishes which are personally hand-picked by the chefs from Japan and Bangkok,” Amarjeet Kumar added.

A four-course set menu for lunch is priced at Rs.1500 taxes, while a dinner set menu is priced at Rs.3000. The restaurant also offers an elaborate a-la-carte menu served at 3-Spices, the 24-hour coffee shop.
