Iranian club Khuzestan signs East Timorese Bertoldo

Tehran, Jan 10 (IANS) Iranian football club Esteghlal Khuzestan has signed Brazilian-born East Timorese midfielder Fellipe Bertoldo.

The 25-year-old has joined Esteghlal Khuzestan until the end of Iranian super league season with an undisclosed detail of financial contract, Xinhua reported.

Bertoldo started his playing career with Brazilian club SE Palmeiras and has also played at Botafogo, Inter de Bebedouro and Oita Trinita.

Khuzestan has already signed Brazilian goalkeeper Fernando de Jesus Ribeiro, Malian defender Moussa Coulibaly and Equatorial Guinea defender Eduardo.
