Irrfan Khan not starring in ‘Dreaded Gangster’

Mumbai, May 9 (IANS) Internationally acclaimed Indian actor Irrfan Khan has denied reports that he will star alongside actor Priyanshu Chaterjee in the upcoming film “Dreaded Gangster”.

Filmmaker Suvahhdan Angre, who will direct the film, earlier claimed that Irrfan would be a part of the film.

However, Irrfan says he has never heard or read any script related to this movie.

“This news is false. If and when I’m part of any project, everyone will know directly from me,” Irrfan said in a statement.

Irrfan was last seen onscreen in “Jazbaa”. He also lent his voice for the Hindi version of Hollywood fantasy adventure film “The Jungle Book”.
