Jacqueline excited for debut appearance at NYFW

Mumbai, Sep 7 (IANS) Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is “super excited” to make her debut appearance at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW). She says she is ready to spot some “beauty and fashion trends” at the gala.

The fashion week will open on September 8, and will go on till September 15.

Jacqueline, who was recently announced the brand ambassador of hair care brand TRESemmé in India, is expected to leave for the fashion gala on Wednesday.

“I’m super excited to attend New York Fashion Week for the first time, as the brand ambassador of TRESemmé India,” Jacqueline said in a statement.

She added: “The whole vibe is all about taking fashion and style a notch higher, and that’s totally me. I cannot wait to get some take away some great beauty and fashion trends from there.”

TRESemmé is the official backstage partner at New York Fashion Week. Jacqueline will be attending shows by some of the fashion giants such as Hugo Boss, Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta.

Jacqueline isn’t the only Indian actress who will add Bollywood twist to the international fashion event. “Jism 2” star Sunny Leone will also be walking for designer Archana Kochhar at the fashion week. She will be opening the show on September 8.
