Jeremy Irons to return as Alfred in ‘Justice League’

Los Angeles, May 3 (IANS) Actor Jeremy Irons has confirmed that he will be back as Alfred Pennyworth in “Justice League Part One”.

Irons told Roger Friedman of entertainment industry news and film review site Showbiz 411 that he would reprise his “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” role of Batman’s butler in the the first “Justice League” film, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film has already started its production in London and is scheduled for release in US on November 17, 2017.

Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot are all back as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman respectively.

They will be joined by Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Ezra Miller (The Flash). The cast also includes Amber Heard who is set to play Queen Mera, J.K. Simmons, who is portraying Commissioner Gordon, and Willem Dafoe whose role remains unknown.

How big Irons’ role will be in the first “Justice League” film is still unclear.

Kids are expensive: Antony Costa

London, May 3 (IANS) Singer-actor Antony Costa isn’t planning to have more children because he feels they are so “expensive” to raise.

Costa, who was declared bankrupt in 2014, is happy with two daughters – Emilie, 12, with former fiancee Lucy Bolster and 22-months-old Savannah, 22 months, with fiancee Rosanna Jasmin. Now is not looking forward to extend his family, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Asked if he’s planning more children, Costa told BANG Showbiz: “No, not at the moment. Kids are expensive, I’m not the first and I’m not the last to say that. They’re the best thing ever to happen to me but it is so expensive.

“You know prams and buggies and cots and where is it all gone? And two months later they’ve grown out of their clothes, and it’s crazy but listen, let me work a few more years and then we’ll see. “

“You don’t need that much. I like free weights and a Bosu, and you’re in business. Maybe a medicine ball,” Underwood told etonline.com at the American Country Countdown Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

“I do lots of squats and lunges, and I like to run, I like to run outside if my knee allows me to. But just body weight stuff, push-ups, pull ups. It doesn’t have to be complicated,” she added.

The Oscar-winning actor’s considers himself in a “fabulous” place and unlike some people with “twisted” motives, he says that he only got into the movie-making business because he wanted to have fun, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“I’m at a fabulous place. I really have to be intrigued by a part. It is like saying, ‘I’m going to give up, go off, form my repertory company in Cleveland, Ohio, and do plays I’d like to be in.’ It’s not unlike that and it’s nice,” Hanks told Sunday Times Culture magazine.

“Some people are in show business for twisted reasons. Power. They want to get laid. The money is good.

“But when I stumbled into this, I did it because it was fun and I’m no goo at anything else. To get paid to make movies? This is the greatest gig in the world,” he added.

Chris Brown announces his next album

Los Angeles, May 3 (IANS) Singer Chris Brown, whose seventh album “Royalty” was released December last year, has already announced a brand new full length.

He took to Instagram over the weekend to announce that his eighth solo album would be called “Heartbreak on a Full Moon”, reports aceshowbiz.com.

He also informed his fans that the first single off the record would release on Thursday. The post, however, has now been removed from his page for some unknown reason.

The “Wrist” singer hasn’t set a release date for his next album yet.

Los Angeles, May 3 (IANS) Rapper Jay Z has been spotted with his wedding ring again, amid speculation surrounding his marriage to singer Beyonce Knowles.

The couple was recently seen without their marriage bands on, amid rumours that Knowles’ new album “Lemonade” made reference to Jay Z’s alleged affairs.

However, Jay Z has now been spotted with the wedding ring again in a photograph, which could silence speculation about the strength of his relationship with Knowles.

The photograph comes after an adorable video showed Jay Z dancing with the couple’s four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy at a recent show of Knowles.
