Jharkhand to have Sanskrit varsity in Deoghar

Ranchi, Feb 6 (IANS) The central government has agreed to help Jharkhand set up a Sanskrit university in Deoghar district.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das met union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani in New Delhi on Saturday, and proposed to set up a Sanskrit university in Deoghar.

Irani, according to a state government press statement, assured of all help to the state in setting up the university.

Irani also assured of full cooperation in improving the educational standard in the state.
