Kannada Movie Rangolu hits silver screen at Suchitra Talkies

Mangaluru: Under the banner of Sunita Creations, AV Jayaraj’s Kannada Film, hit the silver screen with a big bang at Suchitra Talkies here on March 11.

Before the screening of the film, there was a formal inaugural function held at the Suchitra Talkies premises. Veteran Theatre artiste Sadananda Suvarna and Film Director AV Jayaraj lighted the traditional Lamp with other dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering Sadananda Suvarna said,” This movie is very special for all of us. The movie cast and crew have been working very hard. As seen in the promos the movie seems to be very appreciable. Present-day movie is seeing a lot of young blood. We are seeing a lot of changes and also fresh energy in film making. The present directors are making films that are thought-provoking and these films are far more successful than commercials or formula based movies. This tells us that the audience is willing to look at different kinds of films. Therefore we would all like you to watch this movie and encourage the young directors to make more such movies.”

Director AV Jayaraj said, “I have directed other movies but this movie is very special to me since the story line seems to be different. Prominent Tulu and kannada movie stars have worked in this movie. We all hope that the public will appreciate this movie and the movie will be successful.”

The star cast of the movie includes Lead actor Dinesh Attavar, Chetan Rai Villain, Manasi, Padmaja Rao, Dr Nada Shetty are some of the co-stars in the movie.
