Kapil Mishra to be Delhi’s law minister

New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Kapil Mishra will be Delhi’s new law minister, party sources told IANS.

Mishra is currently the vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board and a legislator from Karawal Nagar constituency. He will replace Jitender Singh Tomar who quit after being arrested on Tuesday in a fake degree case.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is scheduled to meet Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung and propose Mishra’s name for the post.
