Karkala: Running Car Catches Fire at Nadpalu – Passengers Safe

Karkala: A Renault Duster car on its way from Udupi to Bengaluru via Agumbe met with mishap on the steep curve at Nadpalu in the early hoursof Sunday.

The car developed brake failure and went out of the control of Lakshmish Rao, who was at the wheel. It swerved in different directions and hit a tree and caught fire.

Rao and other passengers escaped to safety with minor scratches and bruises.

A case has been registered in the Hebri police station.
