Karkala: Three of a Family Killed in Car-bike Collision

Karkala: In a tragic accident, three of a family, including a child, were killed in an accident between a bike and a car on the Karkala Padubidri State Highway near St Joshph’s Church Belman on Thursday, October 1.

The deceased have been identified as Prakash (28), Sumitra (23) and Srushti (4). They are the natives of Gadag district.

According to police sources, Prakash along with his wife and child were on their way to Belman. A car which came from the wrong side rammed into their bike. Seriously injured, Prakash, Sumitra and Srushti were killed on the spot.

A case has been registered in the Karkala Rural Police Station.
