Karnataka Colts edge past NCA

Bengaluru, July 30 (IANS) A fighting century by Washington Sundar (153, 302b, 21×4) went in vain as National Cricket Academy (NCA) lost to Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Colts by 35 runs on the fourth day of their match in the All-India cricket tournament here on Thursday.

Chasing a victory target of 374, NCA were all out for 338 despite Sundar’s ton and his 197-run partnership with Aamir Gani (71).

Himachal Pradesh CA overcame Assam CA by five wickets to pick up six points while CA of Bengal drew their match with Tripura CA, Orissa CA crashed to an innings defeat against KSCA XI and Haryana defeated KSCA President’s XI by 137 runs in the other matches.
