Kasaragod: 17-year-old Girl Student Dies Reportedly of High Blood Pressure

Kasaragod: Khadijat Husaifa (17), daughter of Ummer and Safia couple residing in Mogaru in Mogral Puttur, passed away in a hospital in Mangaluru on Friday.

She was a student of +2 in Mahatma College in Kumbla. On Thursday, as she was getting ready to go to college, she is said to have suddenly collapsed.

She was examined in Kumbla and Kasaragod hospitals. The doctors found a fissure in a nerve leading to the brain. She was shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

The damage to the nerve was reportedly caused by high blood pressure. She is survived by parents and two brothers.
