Kasaragod Resident Dies in Industrial Mishap in Abu Dhabi

Kasaragod: Ahmed (60), a resident of Turutti mosque locality in Kasaragod, has reportedly died in Abu Dhabi in the early hours of Friday.

His family said that he was employed in a factory in the emirate. While on duty, he got entangled in the machinery in operation.


The family was informed of the tragedy by the employer firm.

Ahmed had been serving in Abu Dhabi for about 30 years. He had come on holidays and gone back six months.

Pending decision about the final rites, his mortal remains have been placed in a mortuary in Abu Dhabi, informed a family member.
