Kasaragod Resident Found Dead in Oman – Suicide Suspected
Kasaragod: Harish Bhandary, son of Narayana Bhandary of Lakshamveedu near Vorkady in Manjeshwar taluk in the district, was found dead in Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman on Saturday morning.
He was employed by Al Nab’a group and worked as a laundry supervisor for OmanAir in Nizwa. He had not reported to duty on Saturday, hence security staff was sent to his accommodation. The door had been locked from inside.
They entered the accommodation by using a spare key. Bhandary was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the room. His family here was informed immediately.
Family sources at Vorkady said that he had been working as laundry supervisor for over eight years. It was only a week ago that he had gone back to Oman after spending his holidays here. His colleagues said that he looked dejected after returning from leave.
