Kasaragod: Vehicle Lifted from Bantwal Taluk Traced in Bandyodu – Two Arrested

Kasaragod: A team of police from Kumbla intercepted a pick-up vehicle during a vehicle check at Bandyodu on the national highway last week.

Two persons in the vehicle had escaped from the spot. The vehicle was found to bear Karnataka registration plate. The police informed their Karnataka counterparts.

It was found to have been stolen from somewhere between Kabaka and Vittal recently, according a complaint received about it.

With the assistance of the Kumbla police, Moidin Irshad (22) of Kubanur in Bandyodu and Sharif from Peringadi in Uppala were arrested.
