Kejriwal undergoes tests in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal underwent several tests for his chronic cough problem at the Majumdar-Shaw Cancer Centre here earlier this week .
Kejriwal visited the centre on August 29 and underwent tests that lasted up to two hours, said sources in the Aam Admi Party (AAP).
The hospital authorities confirmed his visit and said that he also underwent an MRI scan during his visit.
“It was a sudden visit. The hospital authorities did not know about it in advance,” a source said.
Ruling out speculation, a top member of the AAP said Kejriwal who had tried ayurveda, naturopathy and homeopathy, but found no relief, was considering allopathy.
“He visited the ENT Section and not the cancer wing. He was examined for any possible problems with the wind pipe,” the source added.
In the past, Kejriwal had undergone treatment at the Jindal Nature Cure Institute in the city for cough and diabetes.
