Kim Kardashian robbery costume removed from sale

Los Angeles, Oct 12 (IANS) A Halloween costume based on reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery has been pulled from sale.

The costume, which was dubbed the Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit, is no longer featured on the site after it sparked a backlash on social media, reports mirror.co.uk.

Released just days after the robbery in which Kim was held at gunpoint and robbed of jewellery worth millions earlier this month, Costumeish.com launched the costume, and faced severe criticism for featuring it.

First the site officials reportedly refused to remove the item, but now founder Johnathon Weeks has agreed to refund the six people who had bought the costume.

The costume was being sold online for $69.99, complete with a white bath robe, mouth gag and yellow hand ties.

It came with a fake “$4 million dollar ring” and an animated Kim K on her knees featured alongside the product.

Fans have hit out at the company on social media.

“Please let me catch you in the Kim Kardashian robbery Halloween costume your life will end on October 31,” one user wrote.

Another one commented: “You should be ashamed of yourselves you sick f***s. Hope you get robbed at gunpoint so you psychopaths know how it feels. Pathetic.”
