Kinnigoli: Thieves Execute a ‘Tyreless’ Job on Car Parked near Rajangana

Kinnigoli: For petty thieves, any little item appears valuable enough to steal to keep life going for a further few days.

When lifting of vehicles is a common story heard here and there, a curious case of theft of two tyres of a car has been reported from here.

Sadananda Shetty, who resides in an apartment in Rajangana location on the main road, parks his car in front of it every night. On Friday morning he found that the front two tyres of his Maruti car were missing.

Although dismantling of tyres makes some rattle and sound, it has puzzled the residents around as to how it escaped the notice of anyone. They have demanded stepping up of police beat in the night. A few have suggested community policing by public-spirited individuals and organizations.

A case has been filed in the Mulki police station.
